1. Anna was singing along with the Veggie Tales. The song was "Sweet, Sweet Spirit": "There's a sweet, sweet spirit in this place ... and I know that it's the spirit of the Lord. There are sweet expressions on each face ... and I know that it's the presence of the Lord ..." The Anna version continues on, "Sweet Lonely Spirit ... Sweet Heavenly Dove ..." After which she paused and asked me, "Who IS the lonely spirit?!" I guess the song wasn't hymn-like enough for her to realize it was talking about the HOLY Spirit.
2. Miriam is no dummy. I was sharing my dry Lucky Charms cereal with her this morning, so I'd hold out a hand-full for us to share. She'd pick out all the marshmallow charms to eat ... and feed ME the oat pieces. She's after me Lucky Charms!
