Yesterday was the ideal day for me.
It started out a little cool - but warmed up beautifully by the afternoon.
We didn't leave the house all day except when
Miriam and I took a little spin around the neighborhood - with her stroller.
Then we hung out in the backyard to soak in a little sun.
We have a backyard full of white oak trees.
I can't say I love them because the leaves turn various shades of ugly brown in the fall - and then not all the leaves fall off so the trees look pitifully anemic and tufty all winter - kind of like old men who don't trim their nose and ear hair (!!).
I miss fall in East Tennessee where I grew up - there fall was orange and red and yellow ...
It was brilliant - not dull brown...but anyway...Miriam doesn't know any different.
She likes the ugly brown crackly dead leaves just fine.
Miriam is getting less & less content to just sit still these days.
She thinks she is should be standing up all the time any more!! I guess I have to let her because she is bound & determined to GROW UP!
Miriam is 40 weeks old today!

Cute pics, Conny ~ It was a beautiful day here too :-) Tim should be in the field today.
Perhaps a maple tree should be on your wish list?
Love your description of the tree! Those are pretty pictures! Looks like you two girls really enjoyed each other!
