OH, and you can scratch #5 off the 10 good things list ... so far Miriam only took a 20 minute morning nap ... and is now fighting the afternoon nap. Oh goody, so we've stopped having to do the cry-it-out at night time, but now we need to do it for NAPS!!?
It's church night & if she doesn't take a nap NOW, we're in for a BAD nursery night - and I don't want to do that to the sweet people who work in the nursery.
Being strong, saying a prayer, and gonna get on with my day!! :)
PS to my GRRRR list you can add:
1) husband took the left-overs I was going to serve for dinner tonight to work with him for his lunch. Now I still have to make dinner.
2) walking through my son's room to get something, I found a HOLE in his closet door??!?!? NO ONE has mentioned this to me....first of all, methinks someone is in trouble & second, now I have to add that repair to my ever-lengthening list.
In the back of my head I hear my husband telling me none of this is major stuff ... no one is dead or dying (this from a man who lived that in a combat hospital in Iraq for a year). It's all good. And it is. And most of all, GOD IS GOOD (can I get an "all the time"!!?). :)

yes'm ~ God is good ALL THE TIME!
btw, I seem to recall a really cute pic of Miss Mimi sleeping on the nursery floor a few weeks ago ~ go revisit that one too ~
Shorter naps come with that good night sleep ~ AND the devil would delight in bothering you with trials as you prepare for prayer meeting. You need to sing! Find a good CD and play it - now! (just call me Bossy)
Wish I was close enough to share the double batch meal I've got cookin!
Oh hey! just had to laugh as I thought about you again AND saw the verse of the day from BibleGateway =) (Ps 119:165)
heehee ~ long ago a missionary wife spoke on this verse and its application to women...
Hope your day got better!
All the time, God is good!
Hope Miriam took a nap this afternoon and you had something super-easy to throw together for dinner!
All the time!
Oh, it is not a good day when the hubby takes my favorite left overs!
