One Year Ago ...

What a difference a year makes!

One year ago today (April 14), I wrote this post: Just Another Day. The irony of it is that I had NO CLUE that something very exciting had probably already begun - something that I had NO IDEA was happening. And that's all I'm gonna say about that. If you can do the math, you might figure out WHAT I'm talking about!! ;) Wasn't I an unsuspecting victim ... the definition of innocence?!

Today I am so thankful for the amazing journey I've been on in this life. God has been so good to me - so gracious - so merciful. He gave me the desire of my heart - even though I had almost forgotten that the desire still lurked there. My life has been changed, not just by what God has given me in this last year - but by this journey of many, many years - full of life lessons that have shown me time & again that God can be trusted - even when I don't understand, even when my heart is broken & my dreams are given up, even when I have to wait a long time on Him, even when I have to finally just surrender my will to His. His ways are not our ways - His ways are better.
