Western Day Pics

Now that I've found it, I could spend HOURS on picnik.com

but I'm trying to control myself because with blogs, facebook, and email, I spend quite enough time online as it is.

BUT --- look at what you can do with your simple digital pictures!! I don't have the best "eye" for photography - but I would like to learn how to take better pictures. We used to always just go to portrait studios for pictures ... but with our new budget/lifestyle, I want to take quality pictures of my family on my own.

This is my son Andrew today - Western Day at school - on our front porch (sepia tone picture with blurred background): And you can add fun features to your pictures as well ... like clip art, frames, and MUSTACHES! :)

and not to be left out - here's my pretty cowgirl today:

fyi, when my Artist saw the pic of Miriam that you had picnik-ed, she asked, Is she a photographer? =) And I love these of the big kids - the mustaches are too fun! (Anna is much prettier with the clean shave)

I will have to check out picnik.com!

Looks like Andrew has mended and that you are all feeling better and having a little fun too. Great pictures of the kiddos. When I taught Christian School we had so much fun with "Spirit Day" and the students from the Senior class were the planning committee, so we ended up doing some really fun stuff. That was long ago and I loved teaching, but now must make a living for the two of us, which I don't think I could manage on a Christian School teachers salary. I totally enjoyed the 15 years I spent teaching and hope that someday the Lord will allow me to go back to it. I love kids. Probably why I love teaching Sunday School so much.

Hope your day just gets better and that you are able to get some rest during the day sometime.

Have a great day...
