There's Something About Tuesday...

Yesterday was TUESDAY!! And you know what happens on Tuesday?! Miriam celebrates one more week since her birth. She's 13 weeks old now.

My friend had a baby girl on Tuesday (yesterday) - same exact birth stats as Miriam's (7 lbs, 21 inches - although M was probably just 20 inches since she didn't measure at 21 inches again for several weeks at other appointments!) ...

My niece was also born on a Tuesday - 21 weeks ago. Tuesday just seems like a good day to give birth! :) We were all 3 induced or scheduled for a c-section. Just a little baby trivia for ya...

My other 2 children were born on a Friday night & a Saturday afternoon. I was thinking Miriam should have been born on a Sunday morning to complete the pattern (am I the only one who is weird about seeing patterns & dates like that?!).
I also thought M should have weighed more ... Andrew weighed 7 lbs, 6 oz. Anna weighed 7 lbs, 7 oz. Miriam should have weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz.!

But anyway ... that's neither here nor there. I'm thankful that all of these babies are healthy, happy, and growing! :)

You did have some good patterns going with your kids, too bad Miriam didn't cooperate and stick with them.:) They only pattern we have is that my babies just keep having bigger birth wieghts.

I also have some patterns. I have 2 very close friends, one has a daughter Heather who was born the same day as my daughter Heather. She lost her first child, and so didn't I in the same month. My other friend has a daughter Joanna who was born the same day exactly one year before my own Joanna. Now don't great minds think alike???
Our first daughter who was stillborn was born 2 years to the day before our second daughter, Joanna. Heather was born in April... she calls herself the "oddball" of the family.

My Mother was 10 years and one day older than my Father and the girls Dad had his birthday on the same day as my Dad. All three of them have gone home to be with the Lord, All their birthdays were in March, so now we have no March celebrations.

My birthday and Joannas' birthday are in December, 20th and 27th respectively. Perhaps Heather was the "oddball", till I married Mr. D, whose birthday in in September.

I'm sure there's other stuff like that, but I don't particularly think about it too much.

The sequences you had were pretty amazing.

Have a wondeful day!
Happy 13 week "birthday" to "Maid Miriam".

For some reason, doctors don't like to schedule for Sunday deliveries, hmm? =)

We began with Sunday, then Monday, so with number 3 I was hoping for Tuesday but he waited until Wednesday. The next baby was way overdue (no due date but she was 9#9oz!) on a Saturday ~ went into labor during a belated mother-daughter function with my MIL on June 13. Number 5 also didn't have a due date really ~ he came on a Monday. And our Grand Finale came early on a Thursday.

I'm guessing they really measured Miriam at 21" at birth - I've heard that those nurses manage to stretch them out fully at birth but not at the follow-up checkups =)

Babies - gotta love 'em! ♥
