Miriam and I spent a quiet day at home ... me playing around with picnik.com (this website can make any home-photographer seem like a professional!) --- but I did do some dishes & chores too after taking yesterday off! :)
Anna is at a sleep over tonight, and Dan is at the LAST ballgames of the season for our school. The teams are playing in Illinois tonight, just across the border from St. Louis - so they won't be home until late. Andrew, Miriam, and I had a nice evening together.
We ate at Wendy's - and topped off the evening with "2 for $3" chocolate-dipped cones at DQ. Those were one of my biggest cravings during my pregnancy - as were Klondike bars (same concept). Apparently the craving hasn't gone away.

As I type this, my house is quiet. Miriam and Andrew are in bed - and I'm waiting for Dan to get home. Next week is Spring Break for our school. We don't have any great plans, and we actually will be working in our church/school office on Monday & Wednesday - but I am looking forward to a much slower pace of life for a week. :)

By the way, Miriam's clothes in these pictures were all gifts. The pink outfit w/ the crown is from a friend in Texas who participated in a virtual baby shower for me. She is one of a group of ladies who all had babies in November 2000, which obviously means I've known her for about 10 years now! The little angel tank top is from Dan's aunt - it is from HAWAII and even though right now Miriam is wearing it as an undershirt, I think it is soooooooooo precious - and quite appropriate. :)
