Our most recent contemplation is what kind of nickname to give her. Andrew & Anna both got nicknames easily: Andrew-ba-dan-drew and Annie-bananie-belly-button among others. They just flowed out. For some reason, I've called my kids "chickadee" and other unrelated things too. Miriam's nickname hasn't hit me yet. Well, actually, I like Mimi ... but Dan thinks it sounds like a good name for a POODLE. He calls her Maid Miriam - a spin on Robin Hood's Maid Marion (or whatever her name was) ... which isn't my favorite. There's Ri-ri or perhaps Mimsy? I guess it will take a few more Tuesdays to figure out which name fits. Until then, we'll keep trying out variations: Marvelous Miss M ... M and M ... Miri ... until something strikes us as the right nickname.

Seems like we watched a John Wayne or Gary Cooper movie with a Mame in it. Mamie? Not much help here, I'm afraid. Sweet Cheeks =) (probably not good past the first year or two)
We had heavy discussions of what would/wouldn't be good nicknames before we named anyone ;-) Well, the first two had nicknames before birth, the next three we call by their full names. And our Grand Finale has a nickname for her full name, pretty much - with plenty of longer nicknames =) I should email you with their IRL names ;-)
