This is my son's 3rd year of playing the trumpet - so imagine my surprise that he was playing a drum at tonight's Christmas concert - for one song! He was just kind of trying out something new with the beginner band. He did play his trumpet for the intermediate band.
His class also sang a Christmas song for us - hard to see Andrew here - and sadly I really didn't get ANY good pictures tonight. I guess we'll just have to keep this one in the memory bank!
My son takes after me - we aren't especially musically talented (my husband is the singer in our family!) - but he has fun and tries his best. We could hear him singing out and are thankful for his good attitude towards participating in the music program at school.
