It's November 1st - and a Sunday, which is a great day to start dwelling on God's goodness and my blessings.
Today at church I was reminded by my pastor that our God is a PERSONAL God ... He doesn't just love the world, He loves us individually. I have read that some of our founding fathers, like Thomas Jefferson, were deists and believed that there was a God but that He kind of took His hands off the world after He created it and doesn't intervene on man's behalf. I think there are too many Scriptures that point to the fact God has a plan for each Christian and directs each one's steps down to small details, whether we are aware of that or not.
Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart ... In all thy ways acknowledge Him - and He shall direct thy paths."
Psalms 16:11, "Thou wilt show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more." (all Scripture from the KJV)
