Slow Cooking Thursday


CROCK POT LASAGNA
(stolen from someone else's blog...not sure who to give credit to. If it's YOUR blog, please feel free to say : HEY! THAT'S MY RECIPE!!)
1 - 1.5 lbs ground beef
26 oz jarred pasta sauce
12 oz bow tie pasta, cooked
12 oz cottage cheese <--- (forgot to add this originally)
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Cook & drain pasta. Brown beef, drain fat. Add sauce to beef.


LAYER in the crock pot:
1/2 of the meat mixture
1/2 of the pasta
1/2 of the cheese
other 1/2 of the meat mixture
other 1/2 of the pasta
other 1/2 of the cheese


Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 2-4 hours.

Oh yummy, and that looks so easy too! I posted Crockpot Pizza today. :) Pretty similar recipes. Anything with ooey, gooey, cheese and pizza or spaghetti sauce is G-O-O-D! :)

I am SO gonna try this! Me and my crock pot get along so well. If you are like me, I must have my crock pot liners now, or I refuse to use it! They are very worth the $3 bucks.

Thanks for stopping by, and Alanis still lives in my van. Just have to pop it out when the kids are with me. Makes me feel all young again!

DO you really cook the pasta first? Seems like it would cook away to nothing in that amount of time....

I love lasagna and I've tried one before in the crockpot which turned out REALLY good. I'll have to try this version.
