Today we donned our aprons, boiled eggs, and dissolved the fizzy color tablets in water & vinegar ~

We drew on some of our eggs with wax crayon ~

And then we waited until the egg dye was dry ~

and now we say HAPPY EASTER!

"Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God."

Those pictures made me smile. There is just something from my childhood that comes back to me when I smell that vinegary-Easter-egg-dye smell. :)
Happy Resurrection Day!!!
"Up from the grave He arose....!!!"
Yea!! You did it! I'm glad you found the time to dye Easter eggs while your kids still want to--mine would have looked at me like I was crazy if I suggested that. Enjoy them--they are growing fast!
haha! I am with "It is well" comment. lol Except the Boy did ask if we were doing them yesterday and I said no sicne the year before they all acted like they would have rather been poked with forks. lol
Happy Easter Conny :)
We're getting ready to decorate the eggs now, the kids love it :)
Colin and I colored eggs on Friday. It was an all morning event that resulted in two dozen eggs. Joe's family has a tradition of playing an game with the eggs called crack the egg. Colin loves it so we have to have lots to play with. Happy Easter!!
