Only ONE MORE WEEK of washing dishes by hand!!! The dishwasher saga is almost over.
After a few days of shopping around, comparing prices (not hard to do when you live in as small of an area as we do - there's only Lowe's, Sear's, and a few small appliance/furniture stores), we have settled on our NEW dishwasher!! We are going with a Kenmore, the economy line, but never the less, it will be better than NO dishwasher at all...To be installed next Thursday.
Frigidaire is applying their 70% rebate to the purchase price of the dead dishwasher instead of towards the purchase of this new one since I did NOT buy another Frigidaire. I'm thankful for their contribution. The lady I've been dealing with at Electrolux has been very kind - I can give them an honest "thumb's up" for the customer service I've received.
The following words are a DELIGHT to my dish-pan hands!! (actually, I'm lying about the hands; Dan and Anna have done A LOT of the dish washing; I've done SOME but not as much as they have!):
